Measurement module with power over fiber
Dvorský, Pavel ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and construction of low-power measurement device with power over optical fiber. This device should measure input signal in range of 50 mV to 50 V and the results of measurement sent through optical fiber into sensing module.
DC/DC converter 12 V to 300 V
Buba, Ondřej ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of switching power supply to power the oscilloscope. In this project the topology of the DC-DC converter is chosen, the pulse transformer and the output coil is designed. The control circuit is also choosen a suggested. This circuit will be replaced with microcontroler ATMEL in the second part of this thesis. The microcontroler will be programmed to replace the control circuit.
Backup power supply with solar cell
Hrubý, Michal ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
Due to the modern trends of energy production from renewable sources, this thesis deals with backup power powered solar cell. Analyzes the principle of operation of the solar cell, describes its technological development. Describes types of commercially available accumulators and their specific properties and the recommended charging. It then focuses on the description of the activities used DC-DC converters and their specifics. The aim of this work is to construct a backup power device that uses USB, independent of the electric distribution network.
Power supply system for mobile devices with high effiency
Vičar, Ondřej ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Brna, Jaroslav Rakušan, ENERGOKLASTR, Slavkov u (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is focused on design of voltage converter’s system operating with supply voltage of batteries. There are selected appropriate types of batteries, converter topologies and modes of their control. The specified output branches are systematically divided into three separate modules. Each module is designed in detail with focus on high efficiency. The modules are implemented and optimized. Parameter of final modules were measured and compared with correctness of design and theoretical assumptions.
Design of Power Supply for Aircraft Model
Switching power supply for electron microscope
Jánešová, Daniela ; Szendiuch, Ivan (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
This thesis is about theory of switching power supplies and about a specific solution of switching power supply for electron microscope. In the beginning of the thesis are mentioned various solutions of part blocks of switching power supplies, their advanteges and disadvanteges, and their suitability for electron microscopy. In the next part of the thesis are described requirements and design scheme of switching power supply for scanning part of electron microscope. The thesis i also about technical solution and practical testing of the switching power supply and verification of its functions.
Pulse Generator for GPR
Martínek, Luděk ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the question of ground penetrating radar. At first it considers the electromagnetic field and its mathematical description. Then it covers measurement of electromagnetic pulses and their processing of sub-surface ground penetrating radar. . In this thesis is also described the involvement of pulse generator with several transistors operating in avalanche breakdown. Individual transistors are compared in time domain. The received waveform is then selected the best transistor for the final generator. Then is proposed solution for the final pulse generator and its implementation. For impulsive generator is also designed and constructed increasing the DC-DC voltage converter. Finally, it is necessary to measure the time behavior of the output pulse generator.
Outdoor Robot Hardware Design
Sitta, Michal ; Veselý, Miloš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This work starts with slightly more detailed description of Ackerman and differential steering. Next shows parameters of direct-current brush and brush-less motors and gear-boxes uses in robotics. Electro technical part show problems of control direct-current brush motor, design of DC-DC converter with integrated circuit MC34063, reading information about steering angle with potentiometer and speed with optical encoder. In the end of work is shown simple byte oriented communication protocol used between microprocessor and desktop PC.
Tactile Feedback Stimulation
Lang, Matěj ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on building and testing a tactile interface. As a first step, it describes various methods of creating a tactile stimulus and mentions basic physical principles used. The direct electrical stimulation was chosen as suitable candidate for replication. For this there was created high voltage DC voltage source controlled by Arduino Nano. Also a PCB accommodating series of electrodes connected to control the flow of current. The system is controlled by STM32F4-Discovery. In thesis is described design of PCBs and all created software. The board has been tested and improvements were proposed.
Power flash battery unit for a photo
Slavíček, Tomáš ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
In the thesis deals with the design of the flash unit to take photos with a maximum output of 400Ws. Proposal flash drive contains a regulation of the maximum power output 12,5Ws. The flash unit is supplied from the battery. Bachelor thesis contains a charging circuit. As lamp use lamp IFK - 120 with a maximum output of 120Ws flash. Maximum performance is achieved by parallel connection of four of these lamps. The flash unit is supplied from the battery. The flash unit includes a DC-DC converter with adjustable output voltage of 100W.
